Christopher Woschitz aka Chris Cross is a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer in the field of urban dance styles. Harmoniously & with a lot of musical feeling the young Carinthian moves across the dance floor & convinces not only spectators but also in the urban dance scene. Starting in a small dance school up to professional dance performances Chris could collect numerous experiences. Numerous are also his national & international performances as well as successes at championships. He was allowed to perform for well-known companies like Swarovski, Red Bull, Vossen or Porsche, as well as for stars like Haddaway, Jimi Blue, Cesár Sampson or 50 Cent. Well-known personalities like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Niki Lauda or Dieter Bohlen in the TV casting show "Das Supertalent" experienced his performativity.

Through his Showdance European & World Champion titles in the categories Hip Hop & B-Boying/Breakdance he is one of the best dancers of our time. His biggest title is the first Gold Medal of Arts for his home country Austria at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, California. Chris Cross owes this to his training, seminars, education & training with mentors, stars, legends of urban dance culture. With a lot of ambition, discipline & commitment, the aspiring artist made his great passion his profession. He taught over 200 students weekly in several dance schools throughout Austria. Among them, Chris works with ORF Dancing Stars winners Maria and Christoph Santner to build a thriving dance culture in Upper Austria. Chris also passes on his knowledge to the next generation at schools, universities, events & projects. His demand reaches as far as Japan, where he taught at Tenri University as a guest lecturer. His great strength lies in his dance shows. When Chris Cross performs, he captivates his audience & takes his audience into his passionate world of dance arts. Besides the numerous workshops & performances Chris studied Urban Dance Styles at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz. With Hip Hop legend Niels "Storm" Robitzky & guest instructors such as Niako, Bruce Ykanci, Damon Frost, Daybee, Boogaloo Sam & Popin Pete, Chris Cross is well on his way to expanding his knowledge & surpassing his previous successes. During the Corona crisis the Carinthian used the time to expand his knowledge in the field of artist management and to prepare new future projects. Through his appearances on the RTL TV show "Das Supertalent" he was able to present his shows to an even wider audience (3.6 million viewers) and advanced to the finals as best solo dancer. One of his most elaborate shows so far was together with the award-winning acrobatic group "The Freaks". He led and performed them to the semi-finals of the TV casting show "Britain's Got Talent" in London. A total of 10 million viewers watched his show live on television. Since then, Chris Cross has been more in demand than ever, not only as a performer, but also as a choreographer and artistic director. For years, he has regularly performed his elaborate mapping dance shows at special events in collaboration with visual designer Edwin Guggenbichler and is determinedly pursuing his new projects.

If you ask Chris Cross what is the secret of his success, he will point to the amount of participation in workshops, trainings and seminars he had attended. He even traveled as far as the USA to learn from the inventors and best dancers. This has not changed until today.

First Showdance World Champion title in the field of Hip Hop & Breaking/Breakdance

An important moment in the dance career of Chris Cross was the sudden winning of the world title of the category Solo, Junior, Hip Hop. His first and specially choreographed show was outstandingly well received and should motivate Chris Cross to dance shows for many years to come.

ASDU - Special Award - Best Young Male Talent of the Championship

In addition to many championship titles, Chris Cross proved to be a special talent early on. The jury also recognized this and awarded him the best young male talent of Austria and Europe.

DanceStar World Champion

Many years in a row Chris Cross won the solo categories of Urban Dance Styles. As a result, he was able to claim the Austrian Champion ten times, as well as the European and World Champion seven times. Every year after that Chris Cross was very well known and feared by the competition.

Film shoots - actor and extra roles in films and series

Chris Cross taught his own dance classes in various dance schools at a very early age. His friendly and playful learning method quickly resonated with children and young people. Dance schools such as Santner, Atelier Danse, Giebel and institutions such as SEAD or state institutions and schools took Chris Cross into their training and coaching team. Chris Cross welcomed over 200 students to his dance classes throughout Austria and southern Germany.

Background dancer for Haddaway (What is love?), Jimi Blue, Cesár Sampson & 50 Cent

Chris Cross was also allowed to perform as a background dancer for well-known musicians. This includes Haddaway with his One Hit Wonder "What is love?" or Eurovision Song Contest singer Cesár Sampson. Even rap legend 50 Cent got Chris Cross as a dancer for his concert.

Numerous dance shows for well-known and successful companies

More and more well-known and successful companies are looking for special show acts for their events. For this reason, Chris Cross was allowed to dance, choreograph, manage and give the guests a unique event for many well-known and successful companies.

Guest lecturer at Tenri University in Japan

For the Sports University of Cologne, Chris Cross was allowed to fly to Tenri, Japan and teach the budding stage dancers as a guest lecturer at Tenri University. Also the management of the university, as well as mayor of the city of Tenri welcome Chris Cross to the honorable tradition of the Japanese tea ceremony.

World Champion of Performing Arts
Los Angeles (gold medal for Austria)

One of the greatest successes of Chris Cross is the gold medal of the World Championship of Performing Arts (the Olympics of the arts) 2016 in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Despite an injury in the semifinals, he took the opportunity to be the first Austrian dancer in the finals and crowned the overall champion for his home country.

For the second time Chris Cross is an important part of the show team of an outstanding and excellent corporate events. These were awarded with the gold medal in the framework of the Austrian Event Awards.

Battle of the Year: Central Europe Winner

Together with his crew "Team Austria" Chris Cross won the coveted and historic dance competition in Zurich. Thus, the team asserted itself against countries such as Switzerland, Belarus, Spain, Latvia, and many others and was allowed to represent and present Austria as one of the top 16 best crews at the big Battle of the Year International.
